Many missions. One ask.

Instead of competing for the same donors, member nonprofits team up and run shared campaigns that let funders back a whole crowd of causes at once.

  1. Step 1

    Join the crowd

Nonprofits apply to become member organizations and are matched into a cross-cause team.

  2. Step 2

    Pool the ask

Teams build shared funding campaigns so donors and sponsors can back several causes at once.

  3. Step 3

    Fund the change

Every dollar raised is shared across the team, with transparent reporting on impact.

Questions, answered

Who can join Crowd for a Cause?

Registered 501(c)(3) organizations working toward a better society in any of our cause areas. We welcome small, community-rooted groups as much as established organizations.

How are pooled funds shared?

Each team agrees on a distribution model before a campaign launches. Funds are shared according to that model, and every member and funder receives the same transparent report.

Is there a cost to join?

No. Membership is free for nonprofits. Program operations are supported by sponsoring funders so that member organizations keep what they raise.

How does Team Concepts support the teams?

We bring our team-building and leadership practice to each crowd, helping member organizations align on shared goals, communicate clearly, and run campaigns as one team.

Can a business get involved?

Yes. Businesses can sponsor a team or cause area, match employee giving, and bring staff in as volunteers through our corporate team programs.
